=A= How to Play =A=
First you need to apply, you can do this by visiting the Manifest page and choosing one of the positions you would like to play wheter this be Cheif Engineer of Chief Science officer its totally upto you. Or you can join by visiting the Join page and applying there. You will need to write out a full bio for your character. Your character doesn't necessarily have to be based on you or anyone you want it to. They can be a different age/sex/race and have different traits to yourself. You also need to make sure that they have a full history and a full biography. Don't worry if you can't find a suitable picture that section isn't necessary.
You play when you are accepted and given a rank by the commanding officer. He/she will introduce you onto the ship and you will get an email telling you what to do. To play you log into the site using the username and password you had chosen and will be taken to your control panel. From there you can choose "Write mission post" which is how you play. Now mission posts are to be written in the third person only example: "he/she said" and are to be written about your character. This is how you participate in the story, also you can do "Joint Mission Posts" which is where you involve another character in the simm. This is where together you both write in turn so your characters can interact and do things together. Remeber to hit Save when doing a JP then it is saved and you can wait for the other player/s to add to the post. When it is finished you can post it to the mission.
There is also "Personal logs" which are like the logs seen on Star Trek. You can write these in the first person or third person if you want. These are to let other players know your characters emotions, feelings and thoughts. Much like a diary on the ship for your character.
