Welcome aboard the USS Relentless NCC 75001!

"A stranger is a friend you just haven't met yet." -- Captain Kathryn Janeway

Welcome to the USS Relentless under command of Captain Emily Woodhouse. Stationed Theta Fleet the USS Relentless has many wonderful and exciting missions ahead. The Relentless is a Star trek simm and is set after the events of "Star Trek Nemesis" and after huge events such as the "Dominion War" and after the return of the USS Voyager from the Delta Quadrent.

The USS Relentless is a PG-13 Star trek Simulation, this means that nobody under the age of thirteen years can join this ship.

Hi All!!

We've officially finished "Young Un's" and we're now onto "Bitter Vengence" a big JP will be started to kick us off. We're currently face to face with a Cardassian ship which has told us to surrender and prepare to be boarded. Obviously we're not going to do that and try and give them a fight, the idea is we try and run but they overpower us and then begin to board us. This is a fight we're not going to win, so good luck!

» Farewell to our XO

It is with regret that I have to announce that Commander X'na Ab'Qaff has had to resign her duties aboard the Relentless due to real life getting in the way. Commander Ab'Qaff is one of few original characters and players from the day the Relentless started. She stuck with this ship through it all and has been a very supportive player and character. She will be sadly missed, she has given me permission to right out her character in the mission.

Farewell and good luck Commander.

» Titanic 100 Years Ago Today

Posted on Sat Apr 14th, 2012 @ 4:53pm by Captain Emily Woodhouse in Out of Character

Today 100 years ago at approximately the time of 11.40pm the RMS Titanic hit an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean. The ship founded beneath the waves at 2:20am.

53 children, 109 women and 1352 men either drowned or froze to death in the icy waters that night. 100 years ago this Marine Disaster brought around the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea which is still used today by all countries to preserve and protect shipping, passengers and crews from experiencing another major disaster.

One major part of this new legislation was to ensure that there were enough lifeboats for passengers and crew. Unfortunately for the 1514 men, women and children who lost their lives that night this came too late. 100 years since they plunged into the ocean, rest in peace and never be forgotten.

As your commanding officer I am letting you all know that this major marine disaster should never be forgotten. It has shaped everyones lives, revolutionised marine history and as we are on a fictional spaceship the very reason we have escape pods is because of this disaster. So whenever you are, remember if you ever travel by sea that the 1514 innocent people that died a 100 years ago have helped shape the safety at sea and should never be forgotten, but should be remembered for their sacrifice and their bravery.

» Mission Update

Posted on Fri Feb 10th, 2012 @ 8:52pm by Captain Emily Woodhouse in General News

Hey all crew.

Time for another mission update.

So far we've discovered that we're basically running around in circles and we're all more or less looking like children. We're going to drop navigation beacons around the nebula to try and triagulate our position and get out of there. Since we don't have a heml officer I can deal with this along with Commander Woodhouse out guest.

The lifeform that is in the computer system will be messing with our navigational controls. Science, Operations and Engineering will have to deal with it. The best way to get it out is to convince it to leave the ship or try and outsmart it.

Also since we're all gettign younger I think that it should be caused by a form of Metaphasic Radiation from the lifeform and nebula as seen in Star Trek Insurrection. However this type of radiation does not revert once we leave the nebula, this is vital to the next mission. Medical can be working on this with Intelligence since the Ba'Ku event will likely be locked up in Federation Intelligence to prevent Starfleet looking bad yada yada yada.

Eventually I would like the radiation to start affecting our behaviour. But not dramastically, so start being a mixture of adults and children. For example try something in an adult fashion and then if it goes wrong throw a tantrum over it! Have soem fun with this and have a laugh! I suppose this would be a good job for Security incase someone starts a food fight in the mess hall.

I would like to have this mission wrapped up by early March so lets get to work at getting this ship out of the nebula and on the way to the next mission. So lets get to work people and lets try and find out how to get out of this nebula.

Oh and one more thing. You are all authorised to do some childish things. So replicate a teddy bear before going to bed, refuse to eat vegetables and insist on colouring with crayons on the walls. Have some fun and lets get this mission going. I want to see some good solo and joint posts!

Lets get going!

Captain Emily Woodhouse.
